Scabs At Work

What is a scab?  A scab is someone employers can hire to keep from agreeing to the demands of a Union. 

Poor people don't have Unions; that's one of the reasons they are still poor.  Employers can pay them minimum wage.  When poor people won't work for minimum wage, employers can hire illegal aliens instead of paying poor people what they are worth.  Illegal aliens are therefore working as scabs.  They not only take jobs away from Americans, they also lower the salaries being offered to American workers.

Now the Union Bosses are ready and willing to recruit any illegal aliens that JOIN THE UNION, but Union Workers are not willing to let employers hire illegal aliens who don't join the Union, especially not at the wages illegal aliens generally accept. Just imagine the disturbance Union members would make if forced to compete with scabs willing to accept $6 an hour while they were demanding $85 an hour - plus numerous benefits!  If Union workers weren't protected from these scabs THEY would be reduced to slopping hogs for a living.  Why then can't US poor people be protected from these strikebreakers?

T. Boone Pickens explained these economics once by saying:  "If demand for crude oil rises beyond the current global output of 85 million barrels per day (then pump) prices will rise to compensate."

Why, it must be true! 
After all, we can see that very thing happening with the gas prices at our pumps, right now,
Can't we?

Translated into everyday life what T. Boone Pickens means is that if employers can't get good help at $6.00 an hour then they need to offer workers a little more. -- and IF you keep adding a little more the point will come where workers will begin appearing at your door begging for a chance to earn all that money. 

Now, when us poor folks can earn more money, THAT'S helping OUR economy more than it is helping the politician's economy.  That's giving US money to spend!

When unscrupulous employers can latch onto a floating labor force of illegal aliens then they won't have to pay American workers what they deserve.  That provokes three evils.  #1, we have an ever-growing pool of frustrated Americans that can't find legitimate work, or who can't provide for their families.  #2, we have American employers that will pay American workers what they deserve competing with employers that get away with hiring scabs.  #3, A major portion of what these scabs do earn is being sent out of the country instead of those wages remaining here to help build our economy. 

Thus we see that the very employers politicians and the media are asking US to subsidize are hurting the poor man's economy far, far more than the illegal aliens are. 

 
Why is Congress letting Twenty Million Jobs be stolen from US?

They have believed the lie that there are jobs Americans won't do,
or the lie that there aren't any Americans to hire.

We can know these two things are lies because like when a meat packing company recently had thirteen hundred illegal workers arrested in one day the company shut down until they could put American workers on the payroll in place of the illegal aliens.  Now these are FACTS. 

When the company couldn't keep their illegal aliens
what happened?
they FOUND American workers! 

This tells us TWO things..
First, American workers were already there,
and Second, the company
that had systematically hired illegal aliens
already KNEW how to find American workers.

No matter how you look at it, these employers are withholding jobs from poor, or low-level working Americans.  Why aren't poor people being protected from these scabs?

For at least seventy years now top companies in the United States have been crying for more skilled immigrants from Europe and India.  Congress has systematically refused to allow them to immigrate here to take those jobs.  They let and even encourage the invasion of our country by supposedly unskilled labor, so why won't Congress let skilled immigrants into our country? 

The only answer that makes sense is: skilled immigrants would compete with the rich kids seeking work, you know what I mean?

Now, your scabs invading our nation WILL work for minimum wage and less.  They are NO competition to the rich kids because they are funneled into jobs where they only compete with poor kids.  As long as they only compete with the poor Americans struggling to find ANY job the law tends to leave them alone.  Therefore, politicians must believe it is okay for them to take those jobs.

The fact is, quite a few of those illegal aliens are so smart they have degrees, in engineering, in chemistry, etc..  If they ever raise their heads and look for jobs here more fitting to their education they are quickly singled out for deportation. Let the illegal aliens start taking the fifty dollar an hour jobs and the seventy five dollar an hour jobs away from the rich kids and you'll see Congress and the executive office suddenly get VERY SERIOUS about blocking this invasion.

These scabs are strikebreakers breaking the neck of poor people!

You keep hearing politicians claim that immigration HELPS the economy.  It is true that letting these scabs steal across our borders helps THEIR economy by keeping the poor man's wages down.  Unfortunately that does not help the poor man's economy one bit, especially when these scabs are sending a major portion of their money OUTSIDE the arena of our economy. 

It isn't OUR economy that is being helped by this invasion.  It is the HAVES in our society who can use these scabs to get their maid service for next to nothing, their lawns mowed for next to nothing, and it is the HAVES in farming and construction who don't have to pay better wages for good help.

The economy of the poor people is not being helped by this invasion; their economy is being raped to shreds.  They have to mow their own yard, sweep their own floors.  Why?  Because their wages are being held down to peanuts by scabs. 

It used to be illegal aliens had to hide out while doing their work. If a plane came over, they'd duck. Not any more. Now, they are openly taking jobs away from everyone. You can see them right out there in the open, brazenly mowing lawns and planting trees for the city governments on our city streets. They are also into roofing & framing houses, pouring concrete, working at the local garage, and a host of other jobs.

Every job you see them taking is one more job no longer available for an American who wants to work.  And let's deal with that lie right now too.

One of the excuses politicians use for not cracking down on this invasion is that illegal aliens are just doing twenty million jobs that Americans won’t do. This statement is so absurd, so ridiculous it is painful to even suspect any mind capable of rational thought might actually believe it, much less a newspaper columnist or duly elected politician directing the destiny of our nation.

What ARE these twenty million jobs? 
Where are these twenty million jobs found? 
Show US the advertising for these twenty million jobs that Americans would not take!
WHO is telling this lie that Americans would not do these jobs if given the chance?

NOT ONE OF THESE JOBS would be refused by an American worker if those protected, subsidized, PRIVILEGED few employers were required to offer a competitive wage to applicants and treat them like human beings. 

During my interviews of Safety Issues around the country I have seen Americans GLAD to get jobs so filthy I would not have lasted five minutes in there. I have seen Americans proud to be garbage workers. I have even seen Americans working for hours in fresh human feces, justifiably proud of themselves and proud of the skilled labor they performed for the rest of us.

Americans WILL work.  Yes, they do want to get paid an adequate, competitive and legal wage, 
but they will work!  But just if by chance there is a job somewhere in America that the right kind of money will not induce an American Citizen to do, we could insist that Congress advertise next among those hopeful immigrants waiting with bated breath for the chance to emigrate LEGALLY to the United States. Why, I'll bet that all we'd have to do is advertise once in Mexico to have more than twenty million NON-criminals volunteer to take all those jobs off our hands.

Where do these "stories" that Americans won't work come from? 
I suspect wishful thinking.

For example, Charles E. Schumer, Senator for New York, publicly admits that he used to be FOR protecting our borders against illegal aliens, but ONE WOMAN told him she couldn't keep twenty good Americans working for her even when she paid double the minimum wage.  Who was this one woman who changed the way a Senator consistently votes in the United States Senate?  Well, she was the daughter of a wealthy friend of Senator Schumer.  Now, please remember, this is HIS side of the story.  These are HIS admissions, click on his name for more details.

When an entire workforce decides all at the same time that they cannot stand to work for an employer there must be something BAD wrong with that employer. 

A number of investigations were definitely in order.  The poor people of this country should be demanding that this, self-proclaimed worldly wise United States Senator -- the one still striving to help his rich friends -- find those poor people who FLED from her employ and get THEIR side of this sordid story. 

We should also be asking, why didn't the media pounce on this opportunity to be fair and impartial in its reporting?  Could it be that poor people having to RUN from an employment situation is no longer -- news worthy of reporting?

But, just to be fair, let's pretend for a moment this was a genuine opportunity to perform real work and that there was no local labor pool capable of performing unflinching labor in the face of these peculiar circumstances.  Did our rich friend go to the local temporary services where those most desperate for employment are to be readily found and ask for revolving details to be sent to her establishment?  Did our rich friend go to the employment office and ask that laborers be found anywhere in the United States?  No.

Why not?  Because she knows where to turn for solace.  She whimpers to her friend -- the senior United States Senator of New York -- that illegal aliens must be made available to her if she is to stay in business.  So here we are, a whole nation put at risk because our dear Senator Charles E. Schumer has ONE (already wealthy) friend that he wants to keep in business.

Americans will work.  No one that says different is bright enough or honest enough to be helping to guide the affairs of this nation!

Here's a side benefit for us if scabs are sent home: If Americans were paid a decent wage and hired for the twenty million jobs now stolen from them by illegal aliens they would spend almost every penny they earned right here with the merchants and stores of the United States.

THEY would gladly contribute to the overall economic health of the United States.  Some of them would even pay their fair share of the income tax burden.
