There are employers who would shove a stick up American backsides just for daring to raise their head. They don't WANT to pay American wages; they want people (preferably with blind eyes) to work for free. For example, just recently there was a leather saddle manufacturer that got caught using illegal aliens. His excuse was: "Americans Won't Work." This manufacturer is making saddles so good they sell for -- Give me a long, solid drum roll please -- $7,000.00 EACH. He even brags that the quality of these saddles is so high "they are instantly recognized internationally." Do you know what turns a chunk of leather into a saddle so good it is worth $7,000.00 instead of only $300, or less? Hmm? Do you think maybe his HIRED HELP is part of the answer? |

After losing fifty one illegal aliens from his workforce at one time this poor owner – remember, we are being asked to yelp out in pity here by the media so he won't have to pay for good help -- claims he advertised "locally" and offered to pay six whole dollars an hour for help. While his tears are still dripping steadily down his cheeks you might gently ask his psychiatrist if this guy really expects us believe this is the going rate for help good enough to make $7,000 saddles out of a few pounds of cheap leather. For crying out loud, do you know how much a local convenience store just down the street from that manufacturer is offering for a simple clerk that simply mops the floors and stocks the candy bars almost in the right place? $11.50 an hour! YES, the employer at that store knows s/he must pay a starting wage of $11.50 an hour in order to keep good workers! If this is how much you should be paying simple help, then how much should this saddle making manufacturer be paying his skilled help then? Oh, I know it's going to hurt him to the quick if he has to share some of his $7,000.00 in profits with those people who do the work for him, but you know what? I quit crying for employers like him a long time ago. Here's another interesting question for you, if a lot more than half of this guy's labor force consists of illegal aliens, then why is he allowed to call these AMERICAN made saddles? American citizens did not make them because he most certainly refused to pay the price for skilled American workers. Here's one more question for you to ponder. Why is Congress -- and the press -- asking us to feel sorry for employers like this? Why do they make US subsidize employers that obviously know how much a good saddle is worth, but don't have any inkling what good hired help is worth? *** No matter how you look at it, employers that use illegal alien scabs are withholding jobs from low-level working Americans. Oh? They're only giving these jobs away because Americans won't do them? Well then, why is it that when a meat packing company recently had thirteen hundred illegal workers arrested in one day the company shut down only until they could put American workers to work in place of the illegal aliens a few days later. Now these are FACTS: When the company lost their scabs -- they FOUND American workers within just a few days! This tells US TWO things.. First, American workers were already there, and already needing jobs, and Second, the company that had systematically hired illegal aliens "because Americans would not do that kind of work" already KNEW how to find those American workers -- but they PREFERRED to hire scabs at less than going wages. Only fools believe that piece of an excuse used by the media. Charles E. Schumer, Senator for New York, publicly admits that once upon a time he was voting to protect our borders against illegal aliens, but ONE WOMAN told him she couldn't keep twenty good Americans working for her even when she paid double the minimum wage. That almost sounds convincing, until anyone with sense look at it for three or four seconds. So, let's dig just a little deeper here. WHO was this one woman who changed the way that a United States Senator consistently votes in our United States Senate? Well, she was the daughter of a wealthy friend of Senator Schumer. Now, please remember, this is HIS side of the story I am revealing here. These are HIS admissions, click on his name for more details. When an entire workforce (even if it is only 20 people) decides almost immediately -- and simultaneously -- that they cannot stand to work for an employer, there must be something BAD wrong with that employer. A number of investigations were definitely in order. The poor people of this country should be demanding that this, self-proclaimed worldly-wise United States Senator -- the one still in office and striving to help his rich friends -- help US find those poor people who FLED from her employ and get THEIR side of this sordid story. What could possibly have been so wrong with that employer as to send all 100% of them scurrying to safety? We should also be asking, why didn't the media pounce on this opportunity to be fair and impartial in its reporting? Could it be that poor people having to RUN from an employment situation is no longer -- news -- worthy of reporting? But, let's pretend for a moment this employer had a genuine opportunity to perform real work and that there was no local labor pool capable of performing unflinching labor in the face of whatever peculiar circumstances existed here. Let's ask ourselves -- and the press --Could more intelligent, loyal-to-OUR-nation employers have solved the problem where this daughter of the Senator's wealthy friend wasn't smart enough to do so? Well, Certainly. Employers who understand the greatness of America and care about their country would have:
Did the daughter of our Senator's rich friend even go to the local temporary services where those people most desperate for employment are to be readily found -- and ask for revolving details to be sent to her establishment? Did our rich friend go to the United States Employment Office and ask that laborers be found anywhere else in the United States? No. Did our rich friend advertise nationally? Did she raise wages yet again to compensate for having to work for the likes of her? No. No, she didn't. What did she do? She whined to her father's friend, the United States Senator -- and she got ACTION. Don't you

| Back in the good old days Government felt that poor people
like US didn't have the right NOT to work for the wages that
were offered to them. "If you get hungry enough, come back
and we'll see if we can fit you in somewhere," cold-nosed employers told
their workers. Back then people had to be pretty desperate to join a Union. Not only was it UNAmerican, it was dangerous because employers hired the Pinkertons and the police to sniff Union sympathizers out, then set upon them with a violence previously known only to those suspected of harboring religious differences.
You may be too young to know what a scab is, and therefore are asking yourself: "What is a scab?" A scab is someone that employers can hire in to keep from Caving in to the demands for higher wages or safer working conditions of their current employees. When poor people look at the price of gas and at the price of food and the cost of rent and decide they won't work for minimum wage, employers -- who don't care about the strength of our country, or its laws -- use that as an excuse to hire illegal aliens, instead of paying poor people what they are worth. Illegal aliens are therefore working as scabs. They not only take jobs away from Americans, they also lower the salaries of other jobs that are being offered to American workers. Even today, if Union workers weren't able to protect themselves from scabs being hired in their places THEY would be reduced to slopping hogs for a living. If US poor people can't be protected from the illegal workers acting as scabs and strikebreakers for our jobs then WE may end up with no other recourse open than the opportunity of selling nice, clean apples on the street.
But, some rich people demand to know, "WHY can't poor people compete with these illegal aliens when it comes to wages?" What they are really saying is: If THEY can work that cheap, then US workers should be able to. Well, they really can't see a reason, so -- WHY can't US workers work for the same wages that illegal aliens are willing to? Well, for one thing, the illegal aliens aren't paying income tax. And if they are getting paid under the table (as many of them are) they don't have to pay social security taxes, and neither does the employer. Next, they aren't buying car insurance -- and there's really no need to since they don't even have a driver's license. Insurance companies frown on insuring motorists who can't get a driver's license. Illegal aliens don't want to qualify for a driver's license because when they sign their names on the license they are also signing up for the draft, and who the hell in their right mind wants to take the chance of having to lay down their lives to defend the United States? They also don't need health insurance because US is already taking care of them for free. Then on top of everything else, the only homes they want to buy are those low cost homes found in another country, far, far away. Now, if poor people didn't have to pay income tax, or social security tax, or have to buy car insurance, and didn't have to sign up for the draft, and never had to pay for their health problems, and didn't have to keep their cars safe to drive and IF they got complete amnesty for the first five times they broke any law -- then YES, US poor people could compete with illegal aliens in the matter of wages. Naturally illegal aliens can work for less than honest American citizens. Does this answer your question? *** The great T. Boone Pickens explained economics once by saying: "If demand for crude oil rises beyond the current global output of 85 million barrels per day (then pump) prices will rise to compensate." Translated into everyday life what T. Boone Pickens means is that if employers can not get good help at $6.00 an hour, then they need to offer workers a little more. -- and IF you keep adding a little more the point will come where workers will begin appearing at your door begging for a chance to earn all that money. Now, when US poor folks can earn more money, THAT'S helping OUR economy more than it is helping the politician's economy. That's giving US more (real) money to spend! But, when unscrupulous employers can latch onto a floating labor force of illegal alien scabs then they naturally won't have to pay American workers what they deserve. That provokes three evils. #1, we have an ever-growing pool of frustrated Americans that can't find legitimate work, or who can't provide for their families if they do work. #2, we have American employers that will pay American workers what they deserve competing with employers that know those laws don't apply to them because they can get away with hiring scabs. #3, A major portion of what these scabs do earn is being sent out of the country instead of those wages remaining here to help build our economy. Thus we see that the very employers that politicians and the media are asking US to feel pity for, AND subsidize, are hurting the poor man's economy far, far more than the illegal aliens are. |
No matter how you look at it, employers that use illegal aliens are withholding jobs from poor, or low-level working Americans. I ask you again, and I ask the Government, WHY aren't poor people being protected from these scabs? WHY is our Government letting Twenty Million Jobs be stolen from US? It used to be illegal aliens had to hide out while doing their work. If a plane came over, they'd duck. Not any more. Now the Government has made it so safe for them that they are openly taking jobs away from everyone. You can see them right out there in the open, brazenly mowing lawns and planting trees for the city governments on our city streets. They are also into roofing & framing houses, pouring concrete, working at the local garage, and a host of other jobs.
Every job you see them taking is one more job no longer available for an American who wants to work. WHY is the Government letting this happen to US when they won't let real immigrants in?
The only answer that makes sense is: skilled immigrants would compete with the rich kids seeking work, you know what I mean?
Now, your scabs invading our nation WILL work for less than minimum wage. They are therefore NO competition to the rich kids because they are funneled into jobs where they only compete with our poor kids. As long as they only compete with the poor Americans struggling to find ANY job the Government GLADLY leaves them alone. Therefore, the Government must believe it is okay for illegal aliens to take those jobs away from US.
As if they think we are dumb enough to believe it answers this question you keep hearing politicians claim that immigration HELPS the economy. Well, that is true. Letting these scabs steal across our borders does help THEIR economy -- by keeping the poor man's wages down.
It isn't OUR economy that is being helped by this invasion. It is only the Government's rich friends who can use these scabs to get their maid service for next to nothing, their lawns mowed for next to nothing, their dirty work done for next to nothing, that are being helped.
The economy of US poor people is not being helped by this invasion; Our economy is being raped to shreds. We have to mow our own yard, sweep our own floors. Why? Because OUR wages are being held down to peanuts by these scabs, while Congress can vote itself a raise any time their poor little shoe pinches.
For at least seventy years now top companies in the United States have been crying for more skilled immigrants. The Government has systematically refused to allow SKILLED labor to immigrate here to take jobs away from the sons and daughters of its rich friends. But, the Government lets -- and even encourages -- the invasion of our country by supposedly unskilled labor. This being verified fact, WHY won't the Government let skilled immigrants into our country?
If illegal aliens ever raise their heads and look for jobs here more fitting to their real skills and real education they are quickly singled out for deportation. Let the illegal aliens start taking the fifty dollar an hour jobs and the seventy five dollar an hour jobs away from the rich kids who have friends in Congress and you'll see the Government suddenly get VERY SERIOUS about blocking this invasion.
