Every outlaw in the old west needed to make a quick getaway. It is only natural then that Robbers Cave gives visitors the opportunity to ride their own horses.

Bring your own gear for attaching your horse to one of the hitching posts.  Add feed and water as wisdom dictates.  Be sure to bring the tools you need to clean up subsequent droppings and you are all set to enjoy all the miles of exciting terrain at Robbers Cave.

There are two ways to spend the night.

A combination horse and bed trailer makes it easy to back in and hit the hay.

Or, scoop yourself out a place on the ground to saw a few zzzs.  What looks like bags in the foreground are actually snoring cowboys.  They are showing their disdain for the elements.

There's no need to dress up.  Pretend you are in disguise.
There is a HUGE tent site just for equestrians

The bathroom is large, expansive, and warm.
Bring your own soap.

Family, Church, or Organizations can use the covered pavilion
for meals, talks and other get togethers.

But you will have to bring your own cooking utensils.
However, water is supplied right to the pavilion.

The horses don't need to get dressed up either.

This Palomino Quarter Horse,
for example
didn't even put on eye shadow.

For even more horse pictures,
go to Horse Heaven.

This artesian well is located on the east side of the equestrian park too.
