Robbers Cave

This picture was taken at the bottom of the hill just inches away from where you park.  It is the first rock to scramble up and it looks safe even for an anxious parent to watch cherished children from afar.

Just from looking at this picture I can once more smell the soft, tangy odor of short leaf pines and feel the gentle breeze sweeping through the mountains.

And while I have you here at the parking area, the bathrooms do have electricity outlets in them AND the heater thermostats are set at 65 for you winter time visitors.

Bringing rugged clothes to wear is essential for the success of a trip of this nature.
