In 1999 on the July 4th weekend in Athens, Texas, the Heritage Classic, featuring Morgan horses, was put on. Students from Majic Stables (a 5-acre spread near Norman, Oklahoma) won all these ribbons in the Western Jr. Horse, lead, and Pleasure events.

Majic Stables is found at 7070 West Rock Creek Rd in Norman OK 73072 Mary Shappee is the owner, and her sister, Gert, is there most of the time too. You can get there from I-35 by turning west on Robinson The road will turn north in a couple of miles becoming Western Ave. When you come to West Rock Creek Rd turn LEFT (or west). Majic Stables is .9 miles from the intersection. Plan to drive slowly as there are many beautiful horses to look at all along this path. Then you will find 38 friendly horses at Majic Stables.

Riding lessons are only offered from 4:00 in the afternoon until 9:00 at night but YOU are welcome to drop in for a friendly visit any time after 9:00 in the morning. You can call Majic Stables in advance at 405 321 5031 to make sure something hectic isn't going on.

Horse Heaven Ranch is a resort for horse owners to bring their horses to.
It's kind of like coming home to your own ranch after a sojourn in a distant,
crowded city. The air is clean and fresh. You step out the front door and
there your horses are, ready to rear up and go like Trigger on the loose.
Hi Yo Silver, AWAY! And off you go down wilderness trails. "Look out for
that branch Little Beaver." Rin Tin Tin is pounding the trail right beside you,
able to leap from tall boulders in a single bound.

Rebel Hill Guest Ranch located in Antlers Oklahoma provides lodging and accommodations in private cabins with lakeside settings, close to fishing, paddleboating, wildlife, hunting trips, and horses.

The only schedule we have at Rebel Hill is for horseback riding.
Centrally located in Antlers, we are three hours driving time from
Dallas, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City. You will find guided trail rides
throughout 500 acres of land.

If you're a beginning horseback rider, don't worry. Riding lessons are
available and horses are personally assigned based on riding experience.
We take pride in our quality saddle horses.

We also have small Welch ponies for the little ones! And we are certified
to work with people with disabilities, so ask about our therapeutic riding program.
