The picture below is known as your TOOLBAR.
It automatically appears at the top of your browser window when you open any part of the book.

You can't wipe out your Browzer Book except by erasing it from your computer, so experiment with the toolbar all you like -- by clicking on any of the words inside it there (the picture below will not work).

Now that you know WHERE the Toolbar is, you probably don't need any more help.  But, if you do, just keep reading this page.  Feel free to stop any time you feel ready to wing it.ding the first chapter.

If you are new to the web, CLICK HERE for help you can grow with to learn all there is to know about surfing the web, or understanding your computer for that matter.

The title of the book appears at the very top of the toolbar,
on the left hand side.

Then in the toolbar's next row, starting on the left and going to the right, you see the words,

Below that row, starting on the left and going to the right, is the word Back (with an arrow towards the left) and the word Forward (with an arrow facing towards the right.  Next you see the word Stop (with a white X inside a red circle above it) and then the word Refresh, with two tiny arrows inside a white page above it.

The word Home comes next, with a white house trimmed in yellow above it.  The word Search is next, with a magnifying glass and a book above it.  Then comes the word Contents with an open book above it.

The Copy button has been disabled in most Browzer Books.

The Print button will usually let you print the page you are on.  I say "usually" because some of the books sold by Browzer Books are NOT to be copied, or printed.

The Password button comes next, followed by the Help button.

Now, the rest of this is in order,
the order of importance you need to begin to read the book immediately and keep on moving.
If you do get confused, just come back to this page and study a little bit more.

First,

use your CONTENTS button
to read the other chapters in the book.
Just click on the button
and a DROP DOWN MENU will drop down.
Just click on the chapter you want
and, Away You Go!  YEA!

The SEARCH Button
 will help you find

ANY chapters which hold
ANY word you enter in the box.
Just click on the chapter,
Then, AFTER the new chapter arrives
Click on the
EDIT button, then FIND
to find the word INSIDE that page.

USE the page down KEY
on your computer's keyboard
for quickly scrolling down the page.

Underlined words will take you onto the internet in a separate browser window, but only if you are ONLINE at the time.

Another important reading enhancement tool is located in the very top, right hand corner of your screen.  There you will find three small buttons in a row.  The one on the left has a MINUS sign in it.  The one on the right has an X in it, and the one in the center has one page behind another in it.

Clicking on the MINUS box will whisk your page away to your status bar.  Clicking the X box  will kill the whole book until you are ready to read it again.  Clicking the box in the center will make your monitor's screen smaller, or larger.

Choose the view you prefer  to make this book more comfortable for you.

If you make the book smaller, then you can also resize the screen still farther by placing your cursor right on any line around the book and dragging it to the size you want (by LEFT CLICKING on your mouse.)

The VIEW button  in the toolbar is next.  From the  font size, to background, depending on your browser, virtually everything can be set to display YOUR way.  Even the tool bar and the status bar can be toggled on, or off, to give you room to read in.

Remember, you can experiment with all the tools on the toolbar at top of every page to enhance your reading pleasure YOUR way, without worrying about (permanently) destroying your book.

Now you are ready to learn about the password.
IF the book tells you that a password is needed to read one of the pages, it will give you a number, and tell you where to go
on the web to get the password for that number.

Now, bring that first password-protected page up again, and enter your password into the box.  Your browser will open up the page for you.  Now, if you have ANY trouble with the password, Click HERE to send a letter to the publisher, requesting help with your password problem.  Be sure to mention the title of the book, and the number of the password being asked for.
