| The importance of strengthening your midsection (from here on we'll refer to it as your "core") should
be a high priority. Your core is made up of the muscles all around your midsection (abs,
obliques, erector spinae - these are the muscles that run right up along side your spine, and other smaller deep
tissue muscles). All movement emanates from the core. This ILLUSTRATED book contains five exercises that will undoubtedly strengthen your core muscles and establish a strong base for your day to day and fitness/sport activities. Based on your training level, you can use the abs/core workout up to 3 times per week on alternating days. Novice trainees will want to start using this workout only once per week and s-l-o-w-l-y increase their frequency to 3 times per week. Naturally, you should ALWAYS consult a physician before beginning any new nutritional or exercise program. |
