Michael J. McGroarty

Michael has the kind of personality that seeps into everything he writes.   As you read through this book you will come to feel that you know Mike personally.   Here now are a (very) few words from the author, then some comments from others.

    The truth is I love landscape plants and have been lucky enough to have been around some of the brightest horticultural minds in the world. 

   I wrote "Free Landscape Plants!" because I know that people love to grow things, but they lack the fundamentals of plant propagation.  One older gentleman who purchased my book told me that he has been trying to grow different plants for years with little success.    After reading Free Landscape Plants! he realized that he was always doing the right thing at the wrong time of the year, and has now grown more plants than he could ever use.  He enjoys giving them away, and people love to get them!

    The secret to growing plants from scratch is timing.  If nothing else, "Free Landscape Plants!" will teach you what to do when you should be doing it.
