Meet The Author

Michael J. McGroarty
Michael has the kind of personality that seeps into everything he writes. As you read through this book you will come to feel that you know Mike personally. Here now are a (very) few words from the author, then some comments from others.
The truth is I love landscape plants and have been lucky enough to have been around some of the brightest horticultural minds in the world.
I wrote "Free Landscape Plants!" because I know that people love to grow things, but they lack the fundamentals of plant propagation. One older gentleman who purchased my book told me that he has been trying to grow different plants for years with little success. After reading Free Landscape Plants! he realized that he was always doing the right thing at the wrong time of the year, and has now grown more plants than he could ever use. He enjoys giving them away, and people love to get them!
The secret to growing plants from scratch is timing. If nothing else, "Free Landscape Plants!" will teach you what to do when you should be doing it.

Here is what other garden writers have said . . . .
"McGroarty is obviously a man who loves the plants he works with and is eager to pass
the information on in terms that regular readers can understand. Free Landscape Plants!
is a no-nonsense first-time approach that can get even the brownest thumb on the road to
landscaping success." -Traci Neal, The Journal Inquirer
"I
just wanted to thank you for the influence you've had on me. I borrowed your book
from the library and it caused me to do a lot more with my gardening than ever before.
I've read many gardening books and never came across one so simple, short,
and powerful in terms of what it can help you do. I even wrote an article about my
growing addiction to propagating plants from cuttings and seeds, describing my thrill at
finding roots on my two week old cuttings of hydrangeas. I sent the article to the
local paper and now write a weekly column. People tell me they are starting compost
piles, buying mulch, etc. Newark, Ohio is going to be a nicer place-and it started
with my reading your book!"
-Joanne from Newark, Ohio
"I like this 120 page paperback publication because it is something that my granny could have read and understood. It's not that Granny wasn't intelligent. This book is written for the beginner, novice, and neophyte home gardener who needs or wants to propagate plants for their landscape or to share with others. Granny was successful with her method, and who knows, if she'd had this book she just might have quit the butter and egg business for plant propagation sales." -Russell Studebaker, professional horticulturist and writer for the Tulsa World.
"Humble, but exceedingly helpful for those who want to grow plants from cuttings at home without a greenhouse is Free Landscape Plants! Unlike some professional gardeners who think they must speak complicatedly, McGroarty isn't afraid to explain the basics. McGroarty simplifies propagation techniques and explains them so clearly that even beginning gardeners should be able to follow the directions and end up with new, healthy, baby plants. This is a book to love because it is straightforward and inexpensive. This book would make a wonderful gift for someone who is learning how to garden but doesn't always have the money to buy the new plants he or she wants." -Frances Worthington, garden writer for The Greenville News
"Free Landscape Plants! is full of information for the intermediate and advanced gardener on the many different techniques used to propagate landscape plants and when to do it. It is worth buying this book for it's reference potential." -Linda Keese, The Daily Record, San Marcos, TX.
Be sure to check out Mike's other offers for this book truly is only
a small twig compared to the wealth of information available from this great author.
"As a professional author, having read this ebook thoroughly I know the instructions are full and complete, ready for anyone to pick them up and put them into practice. My hat's off to this professional author." Lin Stone, author of HOW TO BUY LAND AT TAX SALES.
