| Most of us will never know the
thrill of hearing cheerleaders chanting our name in praise, never
see the blaze of glory that erupts when our picture is posted on the
front page. But all of us can share our triumphs with Jesus
when they come and our frustrations when they don't. For your letter to Jesus to provide you with the most benefits it must be a stand-alone project. Your objective must be to let Jesus know why what you are telling him is important to you. This letter is not supposed to be about "Johnny" or "My JOB" or even about "LIFE!" No, No, NO. It is YOUR feelings, your thoughts and your plans that are important in this project. This is YOUR letter to Jesus. Let "them" get their own press agent. |

For example, ancient Egyptians found that eating liver could help cure night blindness, which the physicians of today believe is a result of vitamin A deficiency. Click HERE for your free copy. |

| Some of us know -- while others will need
to take it on faith -- that Jesus loves us and cares about us. Once you
accept this premise as the basis of your project the writing will
become much smoother and more productive. When we write a letter to Jesus we don't have to hold anything back. We can tell him exactly how we feel about anything that matters to us. We will want to tell Jesus about all the bruises that have come our way, all the battering we are going through, and all the barriers we can see in our future and want to avoid. Eloquence is not essential in our first attempts. What matters most is getting the facts out there on paper. Let the anguish of your soul penetrate your message and eloquence will be your natural derivative. |

Tell It Like It IS!As we write our "Dear Jesus" letters we can feel our burdens lift from our shoulders. We can let Jesus carry them until we need them back. The very act of writing a "Dear Jesus" letter will lighten our load. It won't hurt to exaggerate some of the anguish piercing your immortal soul, strictly in the name of literary license, of course. But essentially, you want to tell it like it is. You will quickly discover there is a great therapeutic benefit in sharing our burdens with Jesus. Telling the same situation to our best friend can't even begin to compare with the blessings that come our way from writing to Jesus. In telling our best friend we are always holding something back, slanting the story and the situation to put ourselves in the best light possible. You don't have to do that with Jesus, nor do you want to. Guile is useless here as one of the premises of this project is that Jesus already knows the truth about the situation. You just want to make sure that he understands what it is doing to you, IN DEPTH and IN DETAIL. |
Leave A Million Dollar Legacy
Behind For Your Heirs:
Be Your Own Banker! Did you realize that money you are already spending can make you rich, provide a
stable income over your whole lifetime, and still leave millions of dollars for
your heirs? It makes sense. Think about how much you are paying banks right now. They are charging
you as much as 12% interest to loan money to you. Then there are those obnoxious
$25 Overdraft Fees. Wouldn't that money feel better if it stayed in YOUR pocket
instead of theirs? Now take enough time to read the fine print on your Credit Card agreements. Can you believe some credit cards are routinely charging you as much as 19.5% interest? That is incredible, incredible that you are paying it! And what happens if you are ever late with a payment? Why, another $25 late fee is slapped upside your head to whip you back into line. Well, it is time for you to Stop This Madness; Put that money back in your pocket. Let us show you how to Be Your Own Banker! |
Write to JesusJesus is the one to whom we are writing. Jesus is the one that will listen. Consequently, we address our message to Jesus. We start our letter out... "Dear Jesus:" As we ease into our first paragraph we want to remember again that this is NOT a journal; it is a letter. It must stand alone as a finished product. In this letter you must present your case and tell it well. When you are finished you will want Jesus to know EXACTLY what you are going through and why it is important to you. Endeavor to come right to the point in your very first sentence. "Johnny is acting high and mighty again," is not stating the problem. What "Johnny" is doing is not important. How it makes you feel or act is. So, focus on your feelings, your thoughts, your plans and the actions you have taken, are taking, or shall take. "Johnny is acting high and mighty again and it makes ME feel so little and frustrated that I want to scream." will get the message across that you want to convey. Practice sticking to one subject or at least to one situation as you write. Remember, you can write another letter to Jesus any time you feel like it. As you write don't worry about syntax or style, concern yourself only with writing down all the things important to your position. Once the fiery foam of volcanic emotions have cooled and the pressure has eased, you will want to set the missive aside and go on thinking about everything you have written. Did you say it exactly right? Did you put good examples in? Did you face the issues squarely? If any improvements or additional thoughts come to you, write them down on separate scraps of paper until you are sure all the lava of hot emotions have cooled. |
| When your mind is ready, return to the
letter to Jesus and begin to organize it so that it becomes an
instrument of telling force in your hands. Make sure first
that each sentence IS a sentence. Secondly, put each sentence into the paragraph where it has the most impact. Thirdly, restructure each paragraph so that it flows naturally from one point to the next. Fourth, rearrange your paragraphs for the maximum impact. Now read the entire letter aloud from beginning to end and make any other changes that seem necessary. Your emotions should be worked up pretty high again, so lay the letter aside for a day or so and then read it once more. In this reading you will probably note with great satisfaction that in your writing your thought processes have become more powerful and your understanding has been magnified. Even a small glimpse of brighter insights will heighten quicker perceptions when a problem is developing so you can head it off, or avoid it all together. Even a small degree of improvement will open the way to better relationships in your life. The more letters you write to Jesus the more profound this satisfaction will be and the better you will be at writing. Remember, Jesus wants to hear from you again, and again. |
