This sparkling stream of pure, clean water is a good ten feet across and almost a foot deep.  Yet, less than ten feet farther downstream, ALL the current disappears, and does it without so much as a little whirlpool.  I'm talking about GONE.

The next thing on my list of priorities of things to like probably won't make anyone else happy; the streets wind around, and are seldom straight anywhere.  In short, you can get lost here without half trying.  I love that.  Others won't be half as enthusiastic as I am about it, but that's okay.  THEY will love the third item on my list, and that's the beautiful buildings lining every street.

About the worst thing you can do in planning a trip to Eureka Springs is to schedule just one day to see it.  You will need at least a weekend, and a week would be much better.  But, where to stay?  Where to stay?  Well, it just happens that I do have a few suggestions.
