Meet Lin Stone.
He finishes web writing projects quickly.
His approach is seldom innovative, but always warm and personal. His own approach to writing style is kind of like what we'd hear from that favorite Uncle Bill we love to go visit on a Sunday afternoon. There's just kind of a buzz to what he writes that makes it true, and important.
Lin has retained all his talents of a skilled interviewer -- He can get your project straight in person, by phone, and over the web. In the past he has interviewed Nancy Friedman, the Phone Doctor® and that world ace sales trainer Stephan R. Schiffman. He has also been on the other end of the stick and been personally interviewed on radio by talk show hosts over 70 times, not to mention good old Maggie Wood herself. You know, his writing style kind of rubs off on you, doesn't it?
Higher Education:
"I don't have the certificate any longer, but I distinctly remember graduating from the 3rd Grade and all charges of bribery being dropped before Daddy's case came to court."
Just like Abraham Lincoln, Lin obtained most of his education at home, only Lin's family was so poor they couldn't afford the burning logs to read by. Nonetheless, when he took the tests to join the Army at the age of 17 the officer doing the grading insisted on knowing what college Lin had attended. His high scores led to his becoming part of the Combat Development Experimentation Control team.
Accomplishments
Here is a text ad Lin rewrote for an international insurance lead generating company begging for more business:
Get an instant side-by-side insurance quote for any kind of insurance you need, from over 300 insurance companies. This remarkable service can be yours without cost or obligation. You can click on it.
After just two months of running the ads from the Tale Wins insurance web site, and nowhere else, Lin was producing 2,864 total clickthroughs monthly. What about the conversion rate though? 2,790 signed up. That's right, a verified-by-the-company conversion rate of 97.4%.
There's more to the story of course, like Lin will receive a cap to wear with 97.4% printed across the front.
Five books by Lin have been published and all are still selling. More than 150 of Lin's feature stories have been accepted by national publications. His favorite story paid the least, SADDLE YOUR OWN HORSE in Cowboy Magazine. "I didn't even make the cover," he sadly remembers.
Many of Lin's articles and essays are available for reprint. Click HERE for a long list you can read for free, or use for free.
Can Lin help YOUR web site pages? Probably. Just fill out this form and get a FREE 150 word ONCE OVER of suggestions.
Lin also invented the reverse answer quiz control.
He has written numerous instruction manuals and edited four company cookbooks.
One of his many publicity release projects got the young artist Danny Ridling interviewed on state-wide television five days in a row. Shortly thereafter Ms. Hillary Clinton BOUGHT two of Danny's paintings. (Ms. Clinton has indeed received hundreds of paintings as gifts. As far as we know, these are the only two she ever bought.)
"Hey," Lin grins. "Who can resist a 6'4" freckle-faced artist slinging paint like Gary Cooper from a High Noon setting in the middle of Little Rock's own Main Street?"
"Well, that's nice, but what can Lin do for ME?" you might ask. Let me give you a list:
