The phone numbers for National
United have lapsed; the company has canceled their right to sell
life insurance. There isn't any phone numbers for a
company with that name nationally; but the good news is that --
so far at least -- mail is still being accepted by someone,
probably an attorney of service. It has been a terrible 10 years for everyone in this industry and hundreds of companies suddenly found themselves facing difficulties none of us could have anticipated. But, remember that this company has a long history of fine service. Since 11/11/1920 it has been meeting all its obligations with few legitimate complaints. You can reasonably expect this policy to continue. So, here is what I suggest you do..

The oldest company I have found was
lost in 1880.
Years after he was gone, someone found an
old, tattered policy, and said: "I wonder if
anyone can track this company down?"
I started out just needing to find four
companies that had insured my dad
Then -- one company at a time, for tens of thousands of different individuals,
I have made it almost a personal vendetta and tracked down the changes in
life insurance company names and entities so that people in desperate straits
could get paid.
It's really been exciting:
Most people I work with only have two, three or four thousand dollars
coming, but at least one family that I helped had two hundred and
fifty thousand dollars coming to them.
The Good news is:
Every penny you get
will feel like a million
when it helps you out of a crisis.
Right?
| When the beneficiaries go looking through the private papers of a loved one, none of them are hoping they picked out the cheapest insurance company that could be found. Most beneficiaries will be fervently hoping that the insurance company that got picked out is still around to be found. |

quickly as possible.
Again I remind you that I know of cases where the money was delivered to the mortuary within minutes of receiving a fax of the death certificate! They delivered with NO quibbling, NO squabbling, and NO last
minute discounts either. |
